Kerala General Nursing and Midwifery Course (GNM) 2023
Applications are invited from eligible students for the General Nursing and Midwifery Course starting October-November 2023 in 15 Government Nursing Schools under the Department of Health in Kerala.
Eligibility
In 15 government nursing schools operating under the Department of Health, applications are invited for GNM - General Nursing Course. from those who have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination with 40 percent marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects for the general nursing course starting in the month of October-November 2023.
Pass marks are sufficient for SC/ST category candidates. In the absence of applicants who have studied science subjects, others will also be considered.
Seats and Reservation
There are a total of 365 seats in 14 districts. Out of this 20% of seats are reserved for boys. Applicants should not be less than 27 years of age or more than 27 years of age as on 31st December 2023. Upper age relaxation is allowed by 3 years for Backward Communities and 5 years for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes.

The application fee is Rs.75/- for SC and Rs.250/- for another category.

stipend to the selected candidates
700/- per month and Rs.2000/- per month for 6 months internship period will be paid by stipend to the selected candidates. The trained persons shall be liable to render service on the basis of wages fixed by the Government at such stages as may be required by the Government.
