Kerala State Higher Secondary Education Board started Single window admission for the Plus One students. All the candidates apply only to the online portal of hscap.kerala.gov.in website.
ELIGIBILITY FOR PLUS ONE ADMISSION 2023
SSLC (Kerala Syllabus, CBSE, ICSE, THSLC etc.) for those who have passed the examination through formal education systems, from other states and countries Candidates who have passed an examination equivalent to SSLC through formal education system can also apply. Must have obtained at least D plus grade or equivalent marks in each paper of the public examination to qualify for higher studies. Candidates who have appeared in other schemes where there is no grading system will be considered for admission after converting their marks into grades. Other Candidates belonging to the schemes have to secure the minimum passing marks for each paper of various subjects as prescribed by the respective Boards. In view of the fact that CBSE itself vide Circular No. 39 dated 20/9/2009 has directed to appear in the examination only those who qualify in this examination will be considered for the main allotments for Single Window Entry CBSE School Level/Board Level Examination was in existence prior to March 2018 Parents of students who have qualified during the years have to give an affidavit on a stamp of Rs.50
Applicants must have completed fifteen years on 1st June 2023. But should not exceed twenty years. There is no minimum age limit for SSLC exam candidates from Kerala Public Examination Board. The Director of Public Education is empowered to grant relaxation of up to six months in the lower age limit and upper age limit to candidates who have passed the examinations of other boards. The Higher Secondary Regional Deputy Director is authorized to grant relaxation of up to six months in the upper age limit to candidates who have passed SSLC. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes will be allowed relaxation of up to two years in the upper age limit. Those who are blind, deaf, or mentally challenged can apply up to twenty-five years of age.
