LIFE MISSION PROJECT 2020 

The objective of the Comprehensive Housing Scheme is to provide safe and decent housing for all landless homeless people in Kerala over the next five years, to enable them to earn a living, to participate decently in social processes, and to benefit from all social welfare schemes, including financial services. Beneficiaries of the scheme are landless homeless, landless homeless, unfinished/uninhabited housing, out-of-town, coastal, or plantation temporary housing. The scheme will be implemented in conjunction with the housing schemes being implemented by various departments. 

Beneficiaries of the scheme
  • Landless homeless 
  • Those who are unable to complete housing / those who have uninhabitable housing 
  • Outfall or in the coastal region; Those who have temporary housing in the garden area.
  • Landless and homeless
Priority order
  • Mentally challenged / blind / physically challenged.
  • The poor
  • People with disabilities
  • Heterosexuals
  • People with serious/fatal illness
  • Unmarried mothers
  • Those who are unable to earn income by working due to illness/accident
  • Preference for widows

How to apply

Life mission 2020 application is to apply online in the website of Kerala Gov. www.life2020.kerala.gov.in. You must first register Using a mobile number, a person can register only once and submit only one application. For that, you need to enter and verify the OTP received on your mobile number. Receiving OTP may be delayed due to traffic congestion on the telecom network at times, so please wait until you receive the OTP message. Enter the password and complete the registration process after successfully completing the OTP verification. Last date of application 14 August 2020

Document required

  1. Ration card
  2. Aadhaar card
  3. Caste Certificate (For Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes)
  4. Income Certificate (Issued by Village Officer)
  5. Certificates of Privileged Families under the Guidelines mentioned in the Guidelines
  6. Include the certificate issued by the Village Officer that there is no land in the concerned local body area in the name of the family members included in the ration card and the certificate of the beneficiary that there is no land in the name of the family member in the concerned local government area or other places (in case of landless only)
