K-TET is a qualifying examination conducted in Kerala to determine the quality of appointment as teachers at the Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School levels. The examination is conducted in four categories.

Category 1 - Lower Primary Classes
Category 2 - Upper Primary Classes
Category 3 - High School Classes
Category 4 - Language Teachers - Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Up to Urdu-UP level
