PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP (MOMA) FOR THE MINORITY COMMUNITY STUDENTS
OBJECTIVE OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship financially helped to the parents and support their children to complete school education. Empowerment through education, which is one of the objectives of this scheme, has the potential to lead to upliftment of the socio economic conditions of the minority communities. The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India pubic or Government School from class 1 – 10.
ELIGIBILITY PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP
The students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and their annual income of parents/guardian does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
EARMARKING FOR GIRL STUDENTS
30% of scholarship will be earmarked for girl students. In case sufficient number of eligible girl students are not available, then the balance earmarked scholarships may be awarded to eligible boy students.
DURATION OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarships will be provided for the entire course. Maintenance allowance will be given for 10 months only in an academic year.
AMOUNT OF PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP
Actual financial assistance will be provided for admission/tuition fee and maintenance allowance as given below subject to a maximum ceiling indicated against item concerned:

RENEWAL OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship, once awarded, may be renewed during next academic year.
